Course Description: The Entrepreneurship pathway teaches students important career ready skills in the context of building a business plan, learning to establish, organize and manage a small business. Entrepreneurship class help students to understand basic business and economic principles, management theories, marketing concepts, and the role of law in business. Class projects include creating business plans and developing mock businesses. At the end of the program, students have a chance to compete for seed capital through a series of business plan competitions, from their classroom, to a regional competition, to NFTE's national competition.

Students will be expected to:
- Come to class, on time, and ready to learn
- Take part in their learning and hold themselves accountable (classwork, participation, behavior and learning)
- Bring all necessary materials
- Respect themselves and each other
- Be respectful to not only the teacher but ANY administrative person and/or sub that is in our classroom
Class Rules:
- Absolutely NO food or drink near the computers
- No hats
- No phones/headphones
- Bathroom/water fountain can be used only after the first ten minutes and before the last ten minutes (Be cognisant of when you ask permission)
- Raise your hand to speak
- Push all chairs in when leaving
- NO standing by the door
- All garbage is thrown away in the GARBAGE CAN
During this course, students will:
